21. Electric scooter

After the electric skateboard project, I decided to turn this skateboard into an electric scooter, which will provide better control, such as steering.

There are new parts needed to assemble the scooter, where one is the variable motor driver, which will help control the speed simply by twisting the throttle, and the metal bars that make up the headtube/headset, just like a regular scooter.

It's easier to just acquire the scooter and install it to the base, also known as the deck. Once everything is all secured, the 24-volt motor was then installed to the deck, also making sure it's aligned. Make connections for the controller, and for the driver/batteries installed in the back.

Of course, I added more wood pieces right on top of the motor, which is strong enough to support itself as I promptly sit on it. This mod may not be pretty, but it may act as physical protection for the motor driver against forces, such as rain.

There's room for improvement, such as replacing the wooden body with q a metal body so that it will be stronger in terms of structural integrity. It will also sustain a user's weight more easily, and find a better power supply.
