25. Crude LED work light

This is a simple project to build but can be useful to have since you need it in places that need illumination. The LED work light will light up any areas in the dark, or outside at night time. That way, you'll have visual clarity when you working on something impossible without a light source.

This work light uses the bright LED chips on a PCB board and a led driver, a switch, and a plug. It's wired up with the led driver connected to the led, and the input of the driver to the AC line. The greatest advantage of using these LEDs for work light was that they are efficient. This means they heat up less, and have the greatest lifespan than other light bulbs. The driver can be anything, as long it can power the LEDs without burning them out.

The entire body of the work light uses several aluminum parts, such as an aluminum plate, and aluminum bars. This will make the entire container for the LEDs and the driver to house in. The advantage of using aluminum instead of other metals is that it's a soft and lightweight metal to work with, yet strong enough for a structure, as well as it is the only other metal that doesn't rust the same way as iron does.

The tripod stand, however, was recycled and used as part of the LED work light.
