47/KIT. 3-D printer

3-D printing can be an important task for creating models for productivity, entertainment, and so on. Unlike a regular printer, which only prints ink onto a sheet of paper, a 3-D printer prints through all directions, as well as using a plastic filament instead of ink. Most printers use a non-brittle plastic called PLA, also known as Polylactic acid, which is the standard filament for most prints.

There are filaments made out of ABS or even designed to be flexible, but whatever filament you choose, your print will be made with that material, giving it a unique property.

<Parts>

The 3-D printer shown in the pictures is the Anet A8, which is a cheap 3-D printer that starts out as a kit. Since it's a kit, you can basically tweak the parts once you are done assembling to ensure the best experience.
To start, you have to calibrate your 3-D printer by leveling the print bed. If you don't do this celebration, the filament may not extrude at all and be clogged.

The whole kit uses acrylic as the frame of the printer. Its appearance looks amazing, but it's brittle, meaning that it can easily crack when used improperly. The axis movements were controlled by stepper motors, followed by belts and shafts to move the print platform and the extruder. The printer uses the extruder for melting and pushing the filament onto the print bed.
This printer has a heated bed, which is used to prevent warping on your 3-D printer. The power supply is responsible for powering the entire unit, ranging from the motor drivers to the controller board.

<Circuitry>

So far, if you are willing to start on 3-d printing, then this printer is the best choice. But expect that since it's a cheap printer, there could be some damage for long-term use. Fortunately, since you can print items, it's possible to repair/upgrade your printer by printing a part that you want to add to. Once it's done, remove the unwanted piece, and replace it with the new part that you printed.
