23. Standing HDTV Antenna

It may be an old problem, but there are people still willing to get themselves entertained through their television by occasional use, but they don't want to pay money through cable or satellite. Besides, there are many channels left unwatched, which can also mean a big waste of money in the end.

Of course, there are many designs for a digital antenna, all connected to the digital TV (if your TV is not digital, I suggest that you get a TV digital to analog converter), and thus, collect digital signals for free!

My design shows that the coaxial wire was split into two wires, which were apart from each other. These 2 wires were given the "wave" design, which will help collect more signals. The reason why these wires are spread apart in the first place is that it will allow the antenna to collect more digital signals at a wider range.

Everything was mounted onto the board, with some pieces of wood as support. In the end, it looked more like a picture frame, but it can be placed on top of the TV, with movable stands to adjust to the TV's size.

You can be creative with the antenna on your own. If you have a coaxial cable, you can basically attach 2 wires onto the cable (inner and outer wire), and make your own antenna design through bending, twisting, and so on. Just make sure to fine-tune the antenna so you can acquire as many channels as you can.
